Galium oreganum
Grows in moist forests. Perennial. Single stems are 4-12 inches tall, upright, leafy and hairless. Square in cross-section.
The leaves grow in whorls of 5-9 (lower whorls smaller than upper). Leaves are 1/3 to 1/2 inches long and oval to broadly egg-shaped.
Flowers are small, whitish to greenish and grow in clusters from the center of the uppermost leaf whorl.
