Brewer's Bittercress

petaled flowers, several in elongated to rounded terminal clusters.
Fleshy 3-lobed leaves, consisting of 2 small opposite-paired
leaflets and a large terminal leaf.
Perennial herb from short, slender rhizomes, forming tubers
at the bases of the stems. Flowering stems to l6 inches long,
often partially submerged.
Lyall's Bittercress
cardamine lyallii
Grows in wet spring areas or streambanks; with dense terminal
racemes of white flowers, becoming elongated as the linear seedpods
develop. 1/2-2ft tall. The leaves are rounded to kidney-shaped
and scattered along the erect stem.
Western Bittercress
cardamine oligosperma
Grows in wet spring areas or streambanks. Four petaled white
flowers, 2-10 per raceme. The pinnate leaves have 5-9 rounded
leaflets in a loose, basal rosette.
