Buttercup
Ranunculus repens
Perennial. Grows in moist, disturbed places. Common in low
elevations. The pinnate leaf blade is strongly 3 parted into
lobed sections. Stems erect. Plant parts hairy. 2-3ft. tall.
Deep yellow flower, terminal on erect stems or their branches.
Seedheads rounded, each smooth seed is oval with a nearly straight
beak.
