Mexican Hedge Nettle
Stachys cooleyae
Perennial. Grows from rhizomes in moist roadsides, clearings,
open woods. Stems erect, leafy, simple or branched,10 to 40 inches
tall.
Flowers are pink to purple, several to many along stem in open
terminal clusters. Leaves are lance-egg shaped, stalked, coarsely
toothed, l-5 inches long.
