Pedicularis bracteosa
Perennial. Grows in moist open forest, thickets, clearings,
meadows in the mountains. Up to 3 feet tall. Stems leafy, unbranched.
Leaves finely divided or fern-like, doubly toothed with short
or no stalk, mostly borne on flowering stems. Flowers are yellowish
to red or purple; upper lip hooded. Numerous in dense, elongate
terminal cluster above several hary, leafy bracts.hairy, leafy
