Leaves all basal, with short to long stalks, elliptic to oval
or circular, rounded at tip. Ray flowers white to pink or purple,
numerous; disk flowers yellow; involucral bracts, often purplish
tinged, blunt at tip, hairy; heads solitary. no pappus.
