Sheep Sorrel

Grows commonly in distrubed places from widely spreading rhizomes.
Tiny reddish or yellowish, flowers. Dark green, arrow shaped
leaves are mostly near the stem base. Male and female flowers
on separate plants. Male plants have long stamens hanging like
red chandeliers from the flowers. Fruit is nut-like, lustrous
yellowish brown, 1/10 inch.
